Readers Bookshop is a bookstore based in Amman, Jordan, offering books, stationery, gifts, and related products through our physical store and online shop. Product availability, pricing, and promotions may differ between channels.

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to misuse it — including attempting unauthorised access, introducing harmful code, scraping content without permission, or using the site in any way that could damage our systems or other users' experience. We reserve the right to suspend accounts or refuse service where misuse is detected.

We strive to display accurate product descriptions, images, and prices. However, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel or amend orders affected by such errors, with a full refund where payment has been taken. Product availability is subject to stock levels and publisher supply.

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation email or begin processing your order. We may decline or cancel orders — for example, due to stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or pricing errors — and will refund any payment taken.

Payment is due at checkout unless otherwise agreed. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. All prices are shown in Jordanian Dinars (JOD) unless stated otherwise and include applicable taxes where required.

Delivery times and fees are shown at checkout and may vary by location within Jordan. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address provided or upon in-store collection. You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address.

Our Returns Policy (available on this website) sets out the conditions under which items may be returned or exchanged. By placing an order, you acknowledge that policy.

Gift cards and promotional codes are subject to their own terms, including expiry dates and usage restrictions where applicable. They cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.

All content on readers.jo — including text, graphics, logos, and layout — is owned by or licensed to Readers Bookshop and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit site content without our written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Readers Bookshop shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or purchase of products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amman, Jordan, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
